About The Fabric Loft, Inc.
The Fabric Loft is a family owned business based on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The Fabric Loft was started in Milton, MA. in 1988 by Richard Elwell. The name of the company was South Shore Yacht Upholstery. He specialized in fabric sales and custom boat upholstery and awnings. Over the years we have grown from boat upholstery to furniture upholstery and the sales of bulk designer fabric.
Today Richard's oldest son Todd runs the company along with a wonderful group of decorators, upholsters, and office help.
